As I am going through this indescribably difficult eclipse season, I found karmic energy intensely lighting up in my space and in all the readings/healing sessions for my clients. My own understanding of karma keeps evolving as I clear karma. So what is karma? Anything in the Eastern mystic system is indescribable—as they say: 不可说 不可说 — everything we can find words to describe is a simplification, distortion, yet still meaningful.
I used to think if I found the Teacher (a yogi with supreme wisdom) who could clear my karma, that would mean somehow someone magically deleted my wrongdoing in the past, so all the guilt and shame would be lifted, and I would feel free and pure. After practicing “clearing karmic energy” in meditation for years without understanding what exactly I was “doing,” my awareness expanded and shifted.
We own our experiences—good or bad, even horrifying, unbearable, even truly sinful. We can clear enough anger, rage, greed, grief, arrogance… whatever charged emotional energy/thoughtforms drove us in the past. It might take 10 years, it might take 10 lifetimes, but we reach a point where we own our experiences. We can see the choices leading to the experiences, the chances we were given to choose differently, how we weren’t able to make the different (better) choice — yet later life (or another lifetime) led us to another chance. We grow and expand inevitably toward the best version/probability of our Self. What you envision as the best version of your Self grows and expands.
We will have a powerful Solar Eclipse in Aries on March 29th. Aries symbolizes these ever-shifting, unformed new probabilities. You are guaranteed a new beginning by the universe. Each new choice shifts your reality toward a new version of your future Self. You are the one with power to light up the version of your Self that you are becoming. Sometimes the most important choices you make are purely instinctual—only when looking back do you realize you shifted an entire timeline.
