Expressionism Portrait - Fate is created with soft pastels on 5"x7" watercolor paper.

In this series of portrait painting, I wish to present women who has lived through the darkness. In our world, when people go through unimaginable trauma/abuse, exposed to dark side of human psyche, very often, they themselves become taboo. People fear to see their pain, or hear their experiences. The wounded parts of their psyche being rejected and expelled, and as human, we all carry the shadow into collective unconsciousness. Doing "shadow" work, we need to give a space for all the "scary" "horrifying" faces.

Care: The painting was sprayed with 3 layer of pastel fixative against dust and smearing, due to the nature of oil pastels, please avoid smudging the surface, the best way to protect oil pastel art is to frame the artwork behind glass.

I am a natural channeler, and create my original art in the channeling state.
